Salt pan revival program under trial in South-East Tasmania, Australia for salinity extremities; crop usage and sequestration value

After recent widespread heavy rainfall across much of Australia, the time is right for landowners to drought-proof their farms.

We consult with Australian farmers and landowners for this purpose and to advise how the CFI can enable them to grow and sell credits through market exchanges, carbon brokers or directly to buyers, by:

• Directly engaging in projects of their own;
• Appointing an offsets agent to manage projects on their own land, or
• Participating in an aggregation by farming groups as part of a larger reforestation project

Several national and international projects are being developed for Greening the Desert ™ to exploit and maximise the research conducted by UTas.
